This is pretty harsh.

This is a british seatbelt commercial lol, I cringed at the end, because it has a little twist to it. Neverthe less I LOL cause i'd be damned if that happened in a Maro. Definately makes me think twice about owning another 4 door.
Remind me to knock on wood for that one.. yeahh.

Wow, that is crazy. And sucks. There is more to it than a seat belt though, she was not paying attention and went in another lane or had someone else come into her lane. Could have been avoided if she wasn't paying attention to behind her, but I realize it is a commercial and they have to make a point.

BUMP that. I am so against seat belts. My 2nd camaro that i totalled in hs, if id been wearing a seatbelt id be crippled at best. When car clipped fence threw me out window, then the whole passenger side nailed a tree.Steering wheel column and driver door where pushed into back bucket seat. Not wearing my seatbelt got me some scars on my right shoulder which beats the hell out of a headstone IMO.
Not saying, everyone shouldnt wear seatbelts. Just imo nothings guaranteed, and my luck favors no belt.

In your case maybe not. In my case, definitely. I was coming home from seeing a girl on her b-day because I couldn't go to the party. I went off the edge of the road in the curve, lost it and started flipping. About seven times I felt one end hit before I blacked out. Ended up upside down in a ditch and all I got was a little road rash and one scar, besides the glass because my window broke. The car was torn all to pieces and the seat belt held me in the car fine. Shoot, even my phone some how landed in my lap so that when I woke up, I could call for help.
Belts aren't always bad, just depends on the situation. For now though, I will always wear mine to at least avoid the 25$ ticket.

Agree 100% man. I just think its crap they can give you a ticket for it. Cigs tell you on pack they basically slowly kill you, women can have abortions, people can have cosmetic plasic surgery, its like Governments OK with letting people make own decisions if they benefit financialy. But if there is a way for them to make money, THEN they get to decide what is or isnt best for you.Its horsePOO

EXACTLY. I should not get a ticket for not having my seat belt on, when the guy on the bike beside me doesn't have a helmet on. Which, around here, most cops are just tryin to swindle money for the county. My dad got a seat belt ticket two days ago, the cop was three lanes over and there was no way he could see. I had the same thing happen to me in my Camaro, except I was wearing mine, so obviously he couldn't see. Just took some pics of it on and off where you could tell he couldn't REALLY see.
