yea ill be there racerin our new S10, looks like itll be a good night for it too. but not alot of these guys go to greer, they all go to shadyside in NC. ya'll should all come out tho, its a shorter ride than SS is anyway so no excuses!

haha if you were able to come you would see that very thing and laugh your head off, especially when they run down the strip with windows down, system bumpin, and neon lights flashin!

but hopefully the truck will be as fast as your car kent and we can run em once i get 4 or 5 passes and get use to it. we havent even had this thing over 15 mph yet lol.

its not street legal so we cant drive it anywhere. lol i only hope itll go 90 mph. but we'll prob. take a video camera with us. we're gonna take it slow the first couple of passes just to make sure everythings right and then let'er rip.

got the truck loaded up and ready to roll! and damn i had no idea that blue gas (the good stuff) was over $6 a gallon these days. anybody want me to bring an extra helmet? oh yea i wont be bringin the video camera so kent you still bringin urs?

so what were everyones best times? truck did an 8.23 at 3/4 throttle when we were tryin to get a feel for it and then 2nd gear dissappeared so i had to shift 1-3. we dont really know what the motor should rev to so next time we'll take it over 5k. pretty dissappointed that we couldnt really break it in tongiht and get used to it.

nah i didnt get below a 2.0 60 ft. when i footbrake it to even 2,000 rpms the car wants to roll through the lights, so next timme im gona hafta pump up the brakes a little when i get to the line. theres no weight in the rear either so its gonna spin bad off the line if a footbrake it too high.

last time I was at shadyside (pre-tune) I ran a 8.50 @ 90 mph. I have no idea what my 60' time was but it couldn't have been good. That is why I figured with an 8.2 @ 85, i thought you would have like a 1.9 or 1.8 60.

nah it was babied off the line that pass and didnt go over 4500 rpm. i can tell its got some power, just didnt get to put it to use last night. its so freakin weird drivin an auto with big stall tho!

Chris, my buddy wants you to fill his bottle but he probably won't be driving out to G-ville this weekend, he is probably gonna wait about 2 weeks. cool, hyeah ill get the tank refilled this monday. i know it was not 7.9s cause that would mean i went mid 6s on my run and my slip says 7.81

better tires, maybe some et streets would help out alot, but hey my car went 8.19s,/ 8.20 in florida off the show room floor 85 mph. and that was with eagle 275 stocker tires. autos are alot easier to run

the guy who does our rear ends for 150 is the head transmission builder at mr. transmission in spartanburg but he has a shop of his on and he does our work on the side he fully built my t56 and he just finished my rear end gears today he charges 150 for labor puttin them in that doesnt include fluid or anything so its a little more if he has to supply that stuff by the way nice run sounds like you have a strong runnin car
