Time for a new thread

Thought it was time to start a new one. So how about one of Brandon's friends who drives an acura integra with a motor swap and a turbo calls me out and makes the following remark "i'll run him un-tuned and i'll turn the boost down." Apparently this guy just does not know. I have NEVER lost to an import in a street race before. I'm not making the remark that I can't lose, but that i have yet to. I msg him and tell him that would be fine but not to turn the boost down because I didn't want him to have an excuse if he lost or icing on the cake if he won. The guy later tells me that he was blowing off steam when he made that comment and said he wants to get his car tuned first. There is so many races brewing up around here but I have yet to see one OR be in one. I don't know about any of you but i'm feeling a pretty strong NEED for SPEED. I'm ready to run one of these guys!

Oh Trav, that is sad but probably true. I have been tempted kinda lately to go ahead and come off the hip for a NX kit and spray a 100 shot. I figure that will net close to 500 to the wheels with another tune. Then there will be only about 2 maybe 3 imports around here that will be able to hang with that.

dave you need to go get dynoed on a dyno jet dyno so we can see exactly were me an you stack up against one another.

Yes Bruce has a dyno jet. It is $75 for 3 pulls without wideband an $100 for 3 pulls with wideband.

I might be able to cough up the 75 for wideband in a few months. I will have to take mike with me and let him adjust the A/F ratios after each pull.

the V8KILLR doesnt come out anymore. he ran from the cops one night and they got him with spike strips, arrested him, and now he doesnt have the car anymore from what i hear.

but this car looks identicle to that one but it has different wheels i think. a guy named chris moore drives this one. he used to run around in a quick little blacked out SRT4 with silver stripes down the sides

yea its pretty quick. theres a few cars out there that a stronger stock than other with a few bolt-ons done so i guess his is one of those!

what are you using them for? and tire width, sidewall height? does that matter as long as they can be put on a 16 inch rim? ya know my dad sales tires so he has a prety big stack out behind the shop of used tires at the end of the week usually. tell me around what size ur lookin for in 16 and ill go look.

i thought he sprayed. when he raced will's car, from what will said he beat him pretty badly. and will's car is the fastest stock LS1 i've raced before. how many cars did you put on him david?

well the first race went like this: 25 or so roll- I spun completely through 1st and then spun right through 2nd gear too! I missed third and as soon as I did I backed off and didn't hit it again. He knew I missed it too cause he backed off as soon as he got a car length ahead. 2nd race: I hooked from a 20 roll and pulled him about 2 car lengths by 80mph. 3rd race: 2nd gear for me and I told him I wanted to do it from 2nd but I believe he was still in first because when I blew the horn the third time he jumped out about 1/3 car length in front of me but then his gear ran out and as soon as that happened, I blew by him and saw his headlights in my rearview pretty quickly. If he was in 2nd then his 2nd gear ends about 55mph(IN AN A4). Brandon didn't seem like a bad guy in person, just a BIG talker, but behind a monitor he was completely different.

Bruce was telling me that Brandon was down there yesterday trying to buy some headers. He told Bruce that he had sprayed a 300 shot on the stock motor with the stock tune. This guy is so full of shit I don't give a damn how funny he is I think the guy an asshole.

well yea, this guy is pretty arrogant and it is nothing short of a miracle that his motor did not throw every rod and break every spline in the axle spraying that kind of shot. still, he said he ran a 7.4X at 94 mph! That is spraying! I ran the 1/8 at 90mph untuned with nothing but a mild cam and gears, and I am not driving an A4 with MT's on the back!! Something doesn't add up with this guy but I can't figure out what it is... I keep wondering why he sold his complete nitrous setup and what he is planning on doing now?

yea david i always got the right thing with me all the time well we will all have to meet at the track and run em for some braggen rights i guess are those possible to get anymore. yea kyle ur dads people always hve done a good job on my cars and i appreciate let em know. oh and without the tune my car made 375rwhp and with the tune it was like 383rwhp i got the dyno sheets i have to look to make sure and it still has cats on it but there comin off soon yea and also the tips look bad ass. we gona have to have another meet and tack day soon

I don't know if bragging rights are possible to get anymore. I just race for fun and because it gets my heart racing! (unless its a stock honda or something) We had some fun tonight at the burg without ya Kent. Me and John(white WS.6) raced the same guy I raced a month and a half ago named Glenn in his 03 C5 vette with chrome Z06 rims. His car is fast as hell if it only has what he says it has. It ran right beside john when he was spraying but his bottle was nowhere near the full mark. But still, I was impressed. I pulled him around 4 car lengths or so. I am beginning to wonder if he has something done to the motor that he is keeping a secret.
