Chevy Officially Announces Plans To Produce The Camaro, Wagoner Still An Asshat

Well it's official. As if there was ever any doubt. Expect powertrain options close to or identical to the ones available in the Commodore sedan. That means DOHC 3.6L HF V6s for base models and LS2s for mainstream V8 models. The LS7 is a possibility if Chevy decides to go toe to toe with the GT500. Expect 5 or 6 speed automatic transmissions in addition to the must have 6 speed manual and IRS.

Oh and Rick Wagoner is still a douche.

The thing that kills me is GM acted like it was such a big secret and dragged their feet before introducing the concept or announcing it's production. Hell , they got so belligerent about the leaked photos on the 'net when it could have some great PR for them. Still , at least it's back and you can bet there will be one in my driveway!
