I doubt ill ever get to build one of these cars with the prices of vintage metal nowdays, especially to cut it apart to mod it. can't hurt to dream though. some of these ive thought out, and some are still ideas.

1. 1970 Pontiac Trans Am RAIV
LSX(with baby blue block) w/ EFI carb intake utilizing the Shaker hood somehow
T56 derivative, think the GT500 has some really beefy new one
either a 9" rear with 4 link, or a full IRS system with 9" chunk. possibly Control Freak if they have a 2nd gen setup made by then
full roll cage wrapped with suede
18/11s out back and 18/9.5 up front w/ Baer 13in 4 piston brakes
Sparco seats covered in blue
BS3 PCM w/ digidash
White with blue stripes and blue interior

2. 1966 Plymouth Barracuda
Twin turbo or Rotrex 340 or 383
Powerglide
D60 rear
Black w/ gold trim
black barrel and gold spoke rims, possibly
Black interior
still got some more thinkin on this one

3. 198X TTA KITT replica
twin turbo 3.8l race block
6L80E trans
wheels based off the aero rims/hubcaps

I could groove on a Daytona Charger with a Viper V10 stuffed in it and a T56 or a Superbird. In terms of Chevrolet , definitely a '67 Camaro or '69 RS ( loooove those hideaway headlights!) with LS7 power. The '67 Mustang fastbacks are the cleanest look in the Ford camp for me.

I hate to say it, but I'm growing tired of seeing the Pro-touring Camaros. Most of them look about the same. I'd like to see something new and different.

I love the Trans-Am inspired cars I've seen here recently though. They just look so freakin aggressive.

I would like to do a 68-72 nova street fighter style.

That Galaxie you have would definitely make a very cool Pro Touring car. You seen the Summit Racing Starliner?

my project is quite reasonable as far as $$$$ .....

95 LT1 with ported 374 heads , gm 847 cam, 36lbs SVO injectors , twiin 52mmm t/b, double roller timing chain, electric w/pump, shorties headers ,dual 2.5" exhaust ,
+ 4L60 modified to handle 600 hp + edge 3400 stall t/c

8.5: 3:73 geared ,disc brake ,rear end .. 1LE 12" front disc brakes

all this in a cutlass supreme brougham 1984 ,
dropped 2" suspension , 4 link +panhard rod rear suspension

should be quite happy with that ;-)
