What's the weight of an LS1 with and without the transmission&accessories?

Bare longblock comes in @ 29xlbs ..... Not too sure about accessories.... Iron block is 95lbs heavier FWIW

Thanks Ron, I found information the web saying the LS1 weighs in at about 500lbs w/ T56 and about 450lbs with an automatic.

Would that be correct? Thanks.

Sounds about right. The A4 is actually a tad lighter than the T56... Atleast my back says so :)

Thanks again Ron! I just had to clear this up for some LS1 haters on another forum. They seem to think the LS1 weighs in at 450 pounds when "prepped" for an auto and 497 when "prepped" for a T56.
