I have a set of rims that need some paint taken off of them. There take-offs from a hummer 2, there mineral grey and clearcoated. Any way I want to get rid of all the crap on them and sand blasting seems like a good route to go. These things are cast aluminum, and Im looking to powder coat them black. You's guys got any insight for me?

The thing here to be cautious about is aluminum. It doesn't take kindly to sandblasting. I've heard of different medias being used that might be a bit kinder.Lemme do a lil' research on it.
