Morning..
Im doing a rebuild on my civics motor, '94, dx, 1.5l sohc..
Ran into a problem. The 3 bolt flange directly after the exhuast manifold. 2 came off perfect, but this one gave me a shit load of trouble.

i had to heat it up to get the thing to move at all. Well, I've stripped the threads on the nut( not the stud, the actual nut)..... I have tried prying, and i am at a lost. There really isnt alot of room under the civic at the moment, the rebuild is being done on the ground (untill i get all the stupid bs done, and can pull it out.)

I dont know what to try.... I dont have another vehicle to use till 6pm tonight, so anything that i dont have here is out of the question....
I thought about cutting the nut, but then i reliezed i dont have any discs (cutting discs).

Can you get a nut splitter in there to it?
You can get one at Autozone, and put it on there, then just crank it down and it'll break the nut off the stud.
