Duramax Diesel vs SS camaro!

Driving to lunch with a buddy from work when I spot Seth in his Silverado. This truck is insane, bigger turbo, tuned, suspension mods, frame stiffeners, pulley's etc...He never talks crap about his truck other then its pretty quick. So I decide to catch up to him and see what he's got. I slowly creep up on him and right when I get even with his bumper he puts it to the floor and shoots more black smoke then I have ever seen. So I put it to the floor and nothing is happening its dead even from 60-90mph it even looks like he might barely be creeping forward on me too! So, I want a fair match. I get dead even with him at 60mph. He stomps it on the third honk and so do I. He gives up like 2 seconds into it even though he was dead even and not losing anyground. The most impressive truck I have even seen in person. I think I would get him from a dead stop. But from a roll I just can't crack him, absolutly amazing truck.

Reminds me of a truck I saw at the strip last weekend. Dodge Diesel ran in low 12's with 4wd engaged.

From a dead stop they rip, not to take anything away from you but if he stayed even with you from 60 up I would venture to say from a dead stop he would pull you. My truck isnt the fastest in the world by any means nor is it faster then everything on the street, but from a dead stop I have killed many types of cars. At higher speeds they might pull me being I have a heavy brick but with the supercharger and AWD with 4.10's stop light to stoplight is where its at. Those diesels have so much damn torque.

I drove my buddy's Duramax to the beach the other day (panama city) so him and his wife could take his vette (me and my girl had his kids in the truck).

These stupid ricers kept tailgating me on the highway so I'd just turn up his edge box and try and fumigate the rice :)

Turns out if you brake-stall the converter with the box turned up you can fumigate from a stop, too :D
