Here are a few pics from when we went down to Louisville for the street rod nationals this summer. Out of over 11,000 cars, we placed second...so that was pretty cool even though only first place winners get to be in the winners circle. There were so many cars there it was unbelievable..I didn't even see half of them I'm sure. While we were there a "hurricane" hit us dumping huge amounts of water with high powered winds which knocked over 100# cement barrels onto cars. We were lucky enough that the only damage our car received was from water leaking up through where the seatbelts weren't sealed in the floor.

Yeah, it was a blast. The storm just added to the excitement and stories to tell.

We made sure to see everything inside (was hoping to get some ideas for the Camaro) and also to go through the swap meet. Other than that we just watched cars drive by and then whatever ones we happend to walk by going different places. It was too hot to just walk around all day! I'm not used to that humidity :P
