driving around Saturday night my "low coolant light" came on. took it home and let it sit. in the morning, there was a huge puddle and all the coolant leaked out the tank. i was out of town sunday and had my dad fill it up and drive it. did fine. drove to USC and back to work today all fine. got out of work and another huge puddle. tank was bone dry. put some water in to get home and the hoses are warm, and upon cutting off i can sqeeze them and watch the coolant move so i know the therm is ok. seems to be spraying out the overflow tube. maybe a bad cap?
thanks anyone.
sorry this may be in the wrong spot.

After a long drive, do you get any 'gurgling' or boiling sounds?
It be the cap, but on an '04 GTO, you wouldn't think that a radiator cap would go bad this soon, right?
I'll move this to the GM Cars technical area for you.

no sounds, no antifreeze smell, no overheating. just everytime you park and turn it off is spits all the coolant out.

might have small leak in radiator....I would take to a radiator shop and have them look at it ASAP, be bad to melt the motor

found it today! turned out being a tiny pinhole under one of the fan clips on the side. both top and bottom. got a new one from radiator express in greer.
