Should be a good race. I don't think there was or is any flat out embarrassment on either side of this equation.

mecham did not murder mach. definitely won, but was no murder. david can vouch. and as for the track, the mach and mecham should be a good race. i dont have the fastest et between the two cars, but we have raced one time before at the track and it was only .3 that the mach won by. and that was 200hp ago for the mecham

For sure. Not for any money. Just two good old boys having fun.
BTW, I checked the pressure in the rears yesterday when I got home. 21psi. Clearly too much, even for the street. Yes, the Mecham does currently hold a faster ET @ 6.90 but that wasn't with me behind the wheel. I ran it the same night and blew the DR's off.....typical

Yep. 275/50/15.
Hey Gregg, I was told by Darren that you guys saw a pretty big difference just from going to a 60 series tire?

Yeah, the larger sidewall helps soften the shock some. If you can fit them they would probably work better.

what he says plus you're looking at a taller tire so it will affect your gear ratio.

I know. Thats why I didn't go with a 60 series in the first place. I wanted the gears to feel a little steeper from the shorter tire. Whenever I replace the rear I want to go with a 3.73 and a true 28" tire.

sounds like you need less gear and moAr tire if you lay down black marks for an 1/8th mile.

that should work and find your next weakest link in your drivetrain LOLs

Other than clutch, there can't be hardly anything left. I will replace driveshaft and TQ arm when I change the rearend. Transmission is already built by TICK.
