This car belongs to Matt from Gaffney. This is actually his wife's DD.
Setup:
Skunk 2 Header
Buddy Club Exhaust
Injen Cold Air Intake
Otherwise, the car was stock.
Tuned on Hondata Flashpro
Here is the chart:
The blue line is the base run, with the stock ECU, and the green line is the tuned map.

Most of the gain cam from vtec engagement in addition to the typical fuel and ignition tuning. We also adjusted the cam angles under light-medium load to reduce lag. Stock cam angle dropped from 40 degrees to around 15 degrees every time he went to shift and returned to 40 degrees as soon as the clutch engaged. Since the cam sprocket is hydraulically controlled, it actually takes the sprocket .1-.15 seconds for every 10 degrees of cam angle change. As a result the customer would experience of lag of about .35 seconds every time he shifted. We adjusted the cam angle so that it would stay the same for the medium and high load areas of the map to eliminate this lag. Again, this is not really noticed by most people but does make a difference, especially in forced induction applications or higher HP setups (domestics included).

Nice car man, I used to have a 06' Type-S with the K20Z3. Problem was, back then you couldn't get K-Pro unless you swapped ecu's out with a 02-04. That's pretty good power though, the only thing that kind of makes me skeptical is that I hear that the Hondata Flash 1-4 can actually make the car run lean.. At least this was the case back when the cars with the new K20s came out..
You might need to look over that map, cause my rsx-s put down 215whp on a Dynojet without a tune.. All it had was DCRH/AEM CAI/Clutch/Alum Flywheel...
Of course the car did only have 4000 miles on it when I had boltons so having a brand new engine might make a small difference.
I used to beat 02-04's with full boltons + kpro all the time. =DD

Thanks for sharing. I'll make sure to pass the compliments to the owner.
I'm not a big fan of mail order tunes, Hondata flash included. By the way, I think you meant to say k20z1 (05-06 RSX-S). The K20z3 from the new Civic Si.
Who's dynojet if you don't mind me asking? That's actually reading high. I have an 05 RSX-S which is the exact same K20z1 as the 06. Before I built the motor, I had the exact same modifications as you, DCRH, AEM CAI, Clutch, Fidanza Flywheel and put down 191whp tuned on both a dynodynamics and on a dynojet. Untuned it was in the 170whp range with less than 5K miles as well.
The following is a RSX-S from the last dyno night. I/H/E, untuned. Just for comparison purposes.

The 05-06 have shorter gearing vs the 02-04 and it does make a noticeable difference. More fun to drive.

Dunno, there where other people on the forums amazed by the power they where making stock on rsxclub back in 2006. I saw ones making as high as 240whp with full boltons + Kpro. Without K-pro I saw some with just boltons making 215-225whp.
But we Dyno'd the car when we went down to Atlanta for Nopi at a place called Dynolab.
Also, that second sheet you posted, is that an 05-06?

Dynolab...that's the same place that Dynos cars at the Fbody Gathering. I think most of the Fbody guys have had their cars on it!

I believe it was an 05-06 but don't hold me to it.
Internally the only difference from the 05-06 (k20z1) and the 02-04 (K20a2) is that the 05-06 has Type R cams. Also the throttle body is 2mm larger on the K20z1. 250whp can be had if using drag cartel cams, high end original or replica headers, RBC intake manifold from the new civic si, a full 3" exhaust and tuning of course. Add E85 and you can push this 2L motor into the 275-290whp range (on our dyno).

I think you may appreciate this for comparison purposes.
The lower chart below is an RSX-S with AEM V1 intake. All else stock and untuned.
The higher power chart is Intake & Exhaust. I'm not sure if it had headers or a test pipe but it wouldn't surprise me. Also untuned.
Both cars are from last Saturday (7-24-10).
