We have a huge hail storm coming and I don't have a garage what do I do?!?!?!

A weighted down tarp , blankets or pillows underneath the tarp . Weight down the tarp big time so it doesn't blow off. Or find a nice overpass somewhere or underground parking garage and sit 'er out.

Tarp can help a lot if hail isn't too bad. Or if you can get to a gas station/convenient store that has a cover over gas pumps. Or a car wash.

Hey PNYKLR you still kickin .........some storms heh, we got it up here from around 11pm till 3am...... lost a tree but luckly it didn't hit the house. I think Decatur got it worse than we did though

I was in Peoria this weekend luckily. My G/F's farm recieved some damage, and their neighbors(which happen to be her cousins) lost all their tree front and a grain silo. My close friend from high school's neighbor lost their roof etc...Lots of T-nado's went through Decatur and the surrounding area and tore a bunch of stuff of. Its so sad cuz Decatur got hit like this back in 98 and most of the buisnesses that were damaged then finally got back up and running now and some of them got hit again this time around! I parked my car far from any trees to avoid crap falling on it, and parking close to some balconies in the Apartment complex to help avoid some hail. Luckily nothing hit my car last night!

Just saw this, but am glad to hear no harm was done to your gal. Tis a sad day whenever I hear of damage to a precious fbody...:(

Oh geez! A huge storm is hitting K-town right now...had a bit of hail, but now just a huge gushing down-pour! I can almost count on my power goin out EVERY time it hits this hard! Oh well, April showers....

It blew right over us, but when I look south I see a large cloud that is constantly having lightning strike in it. It is just one constant glow. It's kinda cool.
