I have a spec 3 right now and I don't much like it. It was slipping a little before the 347/F13 went it, but now its even worse. Great for stop a go traffic but not so much a great feeling when you're on a hill.

So, I want something that won't slam my drivetrain like my Spec 3 has a habit of doing. I'd like the keep a very similar clutch pedal feeling(mine is crisp and short, but almost feels like stock). I'd run the LS6 clutch but once I get another 9" I don't think it would last too long. This car doesn't go to the strip, period. After the 9" I'll make a few passes for some numbers but thats about it.

Need some feedback on ideas.

Textralia OZ700 ,best of both worlds ! Just make sure it's the real deal ( I think you know what I'm talking about here.)

i have heard good things about the LS7 clutch. its not quite as easy to replace a LS1 clutch with an LS7, but they are extremely streetable and can take some power

Phoenix, I've been thinking about the LS7 clutch I just haven't had time to look into it. Need to see what all is involved.

Mike - Textralia is too rich for my blood. Unless you want to send me one ;)

I guess I've just gotten really lucky with my Spec3. ~50k miles with around 400rwhp and now about 500mi on about 430 (I hope!)

I'd also look towards an LS7 for your goals...

i would look into the new centerforce 12" dual friction clutch. I know back in the day people had a lot of bad things to say about centerforce. But there have been many improvements to their products since then. If you want to know more about it send me a pm or e-mail me @ brent_gorman@hotmail.com and i will try to help answer any questions you have!
