Ok, needed to put something in this section of the forum.

What do you all think of the 2008/9 Camaro? I kind of like it. I'd buy it if I can pay off my T/A by then.

the Camaro concept's not bad... but I doubt I'd buy it... Only if they released a firebird with it... Next vehicle will likely be a tow rig, then a C6 Z06

i'd prefer to buy a C6 than the camaro - and if finances allow it I will. I also agree that Firebird/TA > Camaro. Too bad they haven't even put out a concept for the 'Bird.

i like it, and as always when gm introduces a new design it takes a while to get use to it then your like, man thats awesome, avalanche comes to mind, i didnt care for it at first but now i really like em, as long as the body cladding is off.

its too early to tell. there are actually decent options that are going to be out. a GT500, Challenger(maybe), LS2 Sky, etc. once i see a preproduction one, then i can tell u something, cause GM can screw up some stuff goin from concept to production. thats if the general is still around in 09 as a company with money to produce such a car

I would love to see the ls2 sky but I think I would get the new camaro, if none of you guys buy one all be the only guy on the road with one! The challenger is pretty sick though.

Boring story for you guys, Since I am older than most peeps on this board(46 this year in July,Yeah phuck off I know I am old, But all you youngun's just dont believe all the fun/ jackhammering didn't beggin with your generation.) I bought my 02 SS with 2 things in mind, being a F-body fan my whole life, have owned a 67/78/82/85/ and currently a 02 SS(ordered it in SEPT of 01) I had 2 things in mind, of course was to own the last of the breed, the 2nd and most important was I had a son growing up that will be 16 in 09. I know half of his genetic make up is mine( his moms is a wildcard, LOL) but my plan has always been to use the 02 as a incentive plan(in 06 he will be 13) but in the next year or 2 360 xbox will give way to the female agenda:) and I can bribe him to:1 Get good grades.2 maintain a part time job to pay for gas/insurance etc. and 3. to be respectful to his parents,etc. If he does this.... the 02 is his. Before anyone comes down on me to harsh, MY father died in a plane crash when I was 16 years old and we were at odds like fathers & sons can be at that age:( so I HOPE TO GOD this token will keep him on the right track in the hardest years of a males exsistants on this earth:attention: PLease have your prayers with me as this does have a positive effect on him as his mom and I have been divorced since he was 3( we have had a very freindly/positive relationship since then) This kid could have the baddest ride in the HS parking lot,less than 30K miles and in perfect condition and thankfully he is very mature for his age. Sorry to bore you guys but to me fathers & sons and an interest in cars can keep help keep both close through out the years:)

well...in june ill be purchasing an 06 gto. and my plan is to hang on to that till the camaro comes out and ill trade in for it. :thumbs up:
