Hello, Im not on here much and didnt know if this is the right area to put this in. I just put a blower on my vette and it was tuned by Charles Barber. I wanna brag on him cause you cant ask for a better person to work with. My Vette made 435 rwhp and 415 rwtq on all motor. My cam is pretty big and isnt all that fun to drive, but Charles got it to drive awesome! We dynoed it today and it made 705 rwhp and 577 rwtq Im very excited and wanted to thank him and let everyone that if you need a tuner he is the man to call!

Well, since you posted in the projects and builds forum, lets hear some of the details of your setup.

ok, I have a stock LS1 bottom end, stock LS6 heads and intake, G5X4 cam, upgrade valve train, LG Pro LT's, no cats, B&B Bullets exhaust, Racetronix fuel pump with upgrade harness, 60 lb injectors, P-SC1-1 procharger, front mount intercooler, 3.85 pulley, spec stage 3 clutch and thats it! Im so excited over the power it made, i was guessing around 520-530, I was way off!

Nemesis has been fighting a FluBug.. Been little sick as of late. On the bright side I have corrected the Nitrous stand alone fuel cell issue's that plagued me on the Dyno last Wednesday. Things are looking promising.. Even with issues and only 16 degrees of timing she ripped out 711 TQ.
You guys keep raising the bar on me.. lol Its great though, im glad to see some other C5 Vettes making Killer Power.

I don't know the exact specs of the G5X4 cam, but it is apparently more "blower-friendly" than I would have ever thought.

Apparently its suited better for boost than I would have guessed. Crazy numbers for a P1 blower. Those numbers are higher than I have seen from a lot of D1 blowers on LS1tech. I want to see how it performs on the track!

Let alone the money you would have saved not having to pull the motor numerous times to fix it. This IS NOT A JAB AT YOU. I told you many times bring it over and i will give you a hand. This offer still stands.

Then you can see first hand hoe HAPPY the dyno is.

I made the same offer the other day at the shop while we were working on Gary's car.

well the tune never was an issue on my car, converter took out the thrust on the first one, damaged the crank, second time was a bearing issue cause i should of scrapped the first crank.

Excessive line pressure helps shove converter and wipe out thrust bearings. If it happens again, check that shit.

Thanks man! Yea it will be a handle full, Ive been having swaying issues on the track, but I changed my rear shocks so that might help. We'll see!

My car made the 695 and my duty cycle is only 80% on the injectors and with the meth turned 50% so I still have room to go to a smaller pulley.

347 ls6 with a d1 running mid to high 7's? where's my matches! :burnout:

mine only ran 90 and yours is good for 104. so i'm guessing it's making less than 300.

It will trap 104 when its finished. Right now its good for 97, maybe a little more if the temp isn't in the 80's. I figured you might want to get some while the rape will be mild :)

charles looked at bryan and said "do you want to make a pull with the accessory belt off?" bryan was so baffled at the power it was making that it took him a minute to catch it..i asked him if he was going to turn the blower by hand...haha

I would be mad that two stock bottom end corvette are making more than a forged bottom end. My last dyno 695/565. Your car better do better than 104. Mine did 101 in union the other night on STREET TIRES

You don't have a wagon wheel for a pulley either. That 521 was with 6lbs with belt slip, pulley alignment off (which ended up turning a 8 rib belt into a 6 rib), Throttle body blade not opening to 100%, and a POS clutch master cylinder that left the clutch sticking to the floor.

All issues have since been fixed, and smaller pulley has been purchased. In 2 weeks time, the TA should be making numbers north of yours.

101 with what ET? The TA trapped a best of 97 with 26" slicks bogging off the line, when the track temp was probably just over 80.

101 on street tires is pretty damn good man. I went 96 on motor and garys MT's, would had alot faster mph on the bottle but i missed a gear twice. Got the tick in now, should have that issue.

Props to you guys going out and stepping it up, im stuck out here in the books in clemson :(.

I heard there was already a motor in there before this 347ci was. The other motor was using to much oil or something. But hope all goes well with the mecham wouldn't mind lining up beside it when everything is squared away

That was the old 383 car which has been gone over about a year and a half. This is the first engine (other than the stocker) that has ever been in the Mecham. I would enjoy a good run at the track when its ready. The Centerforce isn't going to take much more punishment before it calls it quits though.

The same, the air breather might of stopped it up a little, I cant remember what the numbers where before the last pull. Jeff tried sending it to me but I cant get them, for some reason.
