there are cars in europe already gettin 40mpg on diesel alone. this doesn't suprise me. biodiesel+hybird=cheap transportation(fuel wise)

Interesting. The Europeans sure know their diesels...

Seems that the US dominate the Ethanol tech and the Europeans dominate the high-MPG Diesel tech.

I like the idea of Hybrid vehicles, but IMO the cost savings of the fuel will be offset by the cost of the batt. if it goes bad. I hear they are several thousands of dollars to buy and replace.
