View Full Version : Anyone ride bicycles here?

My wife and I are getting back into it since there are plenty paved bike trails out around the local lake. I picked up an older (90's model) but still new GT mountain bike at the local bike shop yesterday and we picked up a 3 speed cruiser type for her. We went for our first ride today and boy am I outta shape and man are those seats hard on the butt. It was still a ton of fun and i can't wait for warmer weather.

the last time i owned a bycicle, they didn't have shocks on them, and i was probably 7. i kinda wish we had a good place here to take long rides.

Around where my parents live they have tons of bike trials. Part of the Bike Illinois program. Probably 25-30 miles worth, most of it around the outskirts of town but there is some that runs through rock springs recreational area and its beautiful. I have a couple 10 speed bikes I keep at their place so I can go riding and bring a friend.

Mine doesn't have shocks.......................yet. I am actually looking into a suspension fork gfor it but it is not something I have to have but would like to have.
