Will alcohol help with a sore throat?

i have a sore thoat, and i had an idea that a few shots of Jack might help cure it by killin whatever i have. i figure that if it doesn't, it will make me forget all about it. what do yall think?

I've been told that if you put one shot of JD in the fridge and let it get nice and cold, then take it right before you go to bed. Aperently you wake up feeling fine. Havent tried it yet.

Word, that's what I've heard to. A salted lemon works wonders as well; that's usually what I use.

Think of it this way....Alcohol sterelize's things, drink enough of it and it will kill anything that you don't want in you,

I don't know---it will prob burn on contact (but sometimes does anyway), but if you drink enuf & pass-out, you'll not feel a thing. Actually, something like Chloraspetic would prob be a better choice/sollution. And if you start running a fever you might have Strep, which requires antibiotics. the jack helped some, but not enough. used some sore throat spray and that did work. today my sore throat is pretty much gone, but my nose is stopped up

jack isnt really good for a sore throat. what will work wonders are white russians, but you have to have a lot of them...you know...to make sure they work:drunk:
