View Full Version : 6.0 iron boost ready motor

In the not so distant future I'll be able to buy me a motor. I'm hoping for a 370ci "cheap" long block. If possible, 317's with dual springs and a turbo cam. Let me know if anyone has one or may have one available.

check out badmire FS thread on FastGM, CHEAP enough that a simple piston swap could get what you want OR not mill the 317s and be good probably (depending on amount of boost).

depends what you want. i would definately O-ring the block, pin the mains, these things need to be done for the motor to live with a bunch of power. machine work will be a $1000.00, plus pistons you want, rods, crank ect....

also you dont want ANY heads that have been milled. with boost the heads lift quickly. milling them causes it to happen earlier.

Trust me your going to get what you pay for.
