I'm headed out tomorrow for Orlando, Florida for spring break...so don't have too much fun here without me! :D If anyone has any suggestions on what to do down there that would be awesome. I know Saturday night we're going to Pleasure Island.

DOH! I wish I had been home for this post ! Disney's Pleasure Island was kind of a rip in '99. Hope it's gotten better since then.

Hey Sandy, go have a blast---I know I used to when I went down for Spring Break!!! Just come back safe & give us the low-down on what all you did. If (when) I get back down to Florida, I'm going to swim with the dolphins @ Dolphin Cove. Expensive, but heard it's worth it. Anyhow, talk more when you get back---

If you like dressing up all fancy and having a very enjoyable dinner, I highly suggest Sleuth's Dinner Theater in Orlando. A little pricey but worth every penny. :D
Have fun!

My middle brother was born in orlando, that was years ago though and I haven't been there since. I was in Daytona last spring for spring break though. That was amazing. Make sure you look around for spring break vip cards etc...I got a gold card for 20 bucks and it lets you into one club/bar a night for free. Considering cover at all the clubs is $20 one use of the card and you've already got your money back.

I'm sorry! I heard (through the grapevine) that you struck it rich when ladies were giving you $50.00 bills instead of $1s so you retired from that life?!?!

Well, I got back yesterday at 4 in the morning thanks to coming back to 4 inches of snow! That sucked since it was 90 degrees when I got on the plane.

Anyway, I had a blast, drank too much and spent way too much money! On Saturday night we went to Pleasure Island...that was a lot of fun even though we only made it to three of the clubs. We also went to Epcot and drank around the world, then rode the space ship ride (don't remember what it was called?) That was interesting, almost had to use the barf bags that were provided! We went down to South Beach on Thursday night and just walked around and drank since it was so expensive to get into the clubs. Then Friday night we went to Tampa to the Blue Martini, used my friend's VIP card to get in free and into the VIP room which was cool but we didn't really stay in there much, just to drink...since you have to buy a bottle (for $2-500) in order to stay in there. Then we went to the Hard Rock casino since they are allowed to serve alcohol til 4.

I wanted to make it up to Daytona for Bike Week but we ran out of time.

What I would do to be in 90 degree weather right now.

It's always great when you can remember a trip and have fun too. ;)

Haha, yeah, I don't remember parts...but most of it I do...alcohol's way too expensive down there, I spent way too much and even had guys buying most of it for me.

Guys are suppose to buy the ladies drinks. Well at least around here they do, my g/f's 21 b-day cost me and arm and a leg.

You should have gone. The guy running the Dupont booth has some of the most amazing creations I have ever seen. He is my senior mentor for my senior project. One of the motorcycles he created was called the most beautiful bike in the world by a big magazine.

Yeah...I only bought drinks the first night, and all I bought was one for me and a round of shots for my friends and I...but still that was $50

I really wish I could have gone to bike week. One of my friend's dad's works for Suzuki and was down there, and I flew down with a guy who also works for them and said he'd take me out for a ride if we went.
