I got my new (to me) Corbeau CR1's installed today... I think they look right at home in the cockpit of my Formula.

They recline, flip forward, and slide forward and back. They're bolt-in with the proper brackets.
My seats are the Wide version, and have had 1" shaved off the bottoms.
The base seats are $399, then add the wide width and the extra cost of shaving, then add the brackets that are not included and you end up spending about $1200 for this set of seats brand new.
I got them about 1.5 years old, with less than one year's use (they say in the car in the original owner's garage for almost a year) for just under $700 total cost.

how comfortable are they? enough for a 1/4 mile pass or enough for a 300 mile cruise?

Considering this car is my daily, I'm hoping they're going to be plenty comfortable... :)
The guy I bought them from said they're more comfortable than his stock seats, but had them in a Camaro. I'll start finding out tomorrow how comfortable they are.

nice seats, but is that a garage door opener you have sitting on your dash in the last pic. I hate to tell you this but the motor lifts the door and the remote goes in the car.

LOL
Someone on a Honda site told me it would make my car go faster if I put it on the dash...
Actually, it's just the reflection off the windshield...:rrofl:

Darn, I was thinking about going out and buying me one of those radar dectectors that look like a garage door opener to fool the cops.

So, now that you've had these seats for a while, how comfy are they?

Well....
The seats were in the car for all of three weeks when an old man in a Cadillac pulled out in front of me and left me nowhere to go. The accident destroyed my car, but the seats survived just fine though.
FWIW, the seats were VERY comfortable, and I'll probably end up with some more in my new project car. But that's a long while off yet.
The seat held me in place exceptionally well during the impact, probably better than the stock seat would have, because of how deep the side bolsters were. I had only one complaint about them. I wish that the simulated leather panels on them were more durable, since on the lower side bolster on the outsides, they're high wear parts they need to be durable. These panels weren't as durable as I'd like.

Yeah, the car in my sig was taken from me 2 years ago actually. I keep it there in memory of the good times I had with it, LOL.
Actually, it's there until I can get the Cutlass running and looking halfway decent, then it'll go in it's place.
My 2nd boy was born on Feb 27th, right around the time I think I installed the seats, then the accident happened on March 17th. So Juju is right, it was a rough month.
I posted carnage pics here on the board, I thought.
EDIT: I posted a link to a thread on another forum that had pics, but the pics are long gone. I can upload the pics to my web server if anyone is interested so you can see the carnage.
I will tell you that these cars are WELL DESIGNED.

After seeing how well that door support bar worked, there's no way I'd take them out of a street car to save 8 lbs...
