Hey guys, My name is Steve, I'm 19. heard about the site and noticed there was alot of local guys so figured this would be the best way to get deeper in the local car scene.I'm from Simpsonville/Greenville area SC. Alot of you might know me from other forums (Ls1tech, Lsxnation) or might have seen me at the sunday night quaker steak meets. I've lived here all my life but am just now coming up in the car scene. I have a 2001 Chevy Camaro Z28 in "hello officer" Red, and she is my baby. She's an A4, 79k miles, flowmaster catback(yea i know, eww, not my fault), ported TB, SLP lid, and for what it's worth i ran a throttle body bypass when i did the new TB, some people think it makes a difference, i really don't. Im always working on my car when im not at school (I go to tech at Brasier Campus in case anyone else does) or work. Anyways, anything else you want to know, just hit me up! Looks like i can have alot of fun here.

Welcome, does your Camaro have black wheels? If so I played with you a little on 385 last week before I got off at Roper Mt rd, I was on my way to meet DT for some lunch. Im in Simpsonville too.

naa sadly i've got the chrome stockers. Bout to throw on some stocker 5 spokes until i can afford c5 zo6's in black. I don't think i would even try running with a vette anyway lol. Here's some pics of mine.

Thanks for the welcomes guys! I took the bodykit off and am awaiting time to get the bodywork done to fix it, also did the black berger panel and custom "shit-fabbed" the z28 logo on the lid lol im gonna fix it next chance i get.

Lol nice. Some guys have their turning lanes, my big thing is stop signs. Coming home from work, no cop, no stop as long as its safe of course. I dont see why the parking lot i shortcut thru has like 6 stop signs...

lol well youll have to teach me your method, i cant seem to keep this thing clean for shitt. Sadly, the body is already looking pretty bad. Theres a spot on the rear bumper where it looks like the guy rubbed the garage or something, little tabs riveted all around the car that held the bodykit on that i still have yet to drill out, and a few scratches on the drivers side door, looks like the previous owner had an angry ex lol. But soon all that will be fixed. Rough trying to worry about performance and appearance while on a minumum wage salary haha.

Idk i'm gonna let my dad's bodywork guy take a hold of it, he still owes us some favors. I'm gonna drill out the rivets myself probably thursday while helping my buddy put the motor back in his saturn, and the scratches are very small and light and will probably come out as will the mark on the rear bumper. who knows. But the guy does good work, he fixed my truck after a little fender bender (in my own driverway haha) and did all the bodywork on the 96 z28 we were building but then abandoned (still have half a body and most of an Lt1 laying around the shop), he does good quality work. But i am always open for pointers, im at quaker steak sunday night so Kyle if you ever got some friendly advice for a brother i'd be happy to let you take a look around the car.

Yea i live in Waterton. It's a nice little neighborhood, friendly people, local celebrities (michael cogdale lol) and the occasional domestic dispute. Fun times haha.

But yea i already know a guy on here, Chris that drives the red Ws6, we have to endure the same 3 hour math class followed by a nice boring psych class on tuesdays and thursdays.

im just giving ya some advice i wish someone wouldve given me. theres tons of wheels in that price range that look good that you dont see everyday. you can find great deals on used stuff on LS1tech...and get it cheaper than the z06s wouldve cost brand new.

i have $1200 invested in my wheel/tire setup, got them used.

I see the c6,c5,zr1,and TT2s bout same on f-bodies.. Only person who has a somewhat original wheel (around this area) is Tim T. They sexy too. I also am a fan of the wheel madmike on here has.

ive seen some in black before, they were pretty sick, but like that gunmetal grey color too.

Alotta people are against vette wagon wheels but i saw some painted black with a red lip that looked really good. I had a set in silver on my s10 Xtreme, really set that truck off.
