I keep running in to you all over the web.

So you gonna help me pull that dad gum T56? If we open it up I'm going to go ahead and put a Viper output shaft in it. Might as well upgrade the last weak link.

We would need to pull it at your place and take the T56 over to the shop to tear it apart.
I don't think I could fit another car in the driveway. LOL!
Also, it will be a few weeks before I can get to anything. I have Chad's car waiting for me, the Sonoma is not finished yet, Rally's tranny is still sitting on the floor, the Blazer is coming in on the 11th and the Trooper just arrived. :(

We're still working on this thing but we got a few more tricks up our sleeve. Haven't even come close to getting it finished yet

That's cool, I'm in no hurry. I'm booked up for the next couple of weekends myself.

Lemme find time to fiddle with the pinion angle some and if that doesn't pan out we'll pull the T56. Should be able to pull it @ my house pretty easily. I don't have a tranny jack though.

You can borrow mine when it is time to pull it. :D

What do you think of it so far , Chris?

Its nice...I'm in love with the Vbulletin package. I bet Lee loves it too.

Once you get a custom template set up and then announce it, I think you'll have a hit on your hands. The only thing you have to be careful about is dilluting your audience too much (many prefer to go to a specific site about their vehicle vs. a generalist site).

I'm all about cross-marketing, so if you guys want to do a banner exchange with LS1LT1.com let me know (when you're ready to go public).

Well , I thought a lot about a website but I knew I would have a lot of competiton if I went with one manufacturer specific site. So , I came up with multi manufacturers' forums you draw in more people and even provide a bit of friendly rivalry( or some really good flammage) .Still hadn't thought up a "niche " to stand out from the crowd at that point , though. Then , there I was , reading a USA today paper and saw an article about this guy who started a dating website for farmers. Sounds looney , huh? The guy opened up the site last May and now has over 10,000 registered users! This did spark something in my beady lil ' brain . I came home ,did a Google and guess what ? No car dating sites. NONE. So I thought ,"Why not?' Have a tech forum , dating forum and spend a lil' cash on really neat stuff to make it stand out." Of course I am totally VB and PHP stupid so I needed a good IT man . My first thought was Bill Gates but he's kinda busy.:D I then told Lee "How about you build it , I buy it and we split the ill gotten proceeds?" I told him my lil' brainstorm and he's just crazy enough to think it might have a chance , too. So we have Match.com meets CarDomain meets LS1tech.com. Of course I need some good knowledgable mods so I hit up the LS1tech but I also wanted to make it extremely female friendly so I asked some very lovely female 'net junkies very nicely if they wanted to be part of the staff. There you have it.

A very novel idea it is! I'm always coming up with nutty web ideas too...99% of them won't fly, but as I always say "it only takes one" :D

There's still a lot of work to be done to it. We're going to install a really nice custom skin , tweak the HookUp and buy some Google adwords along with a search engine package but it's at least up and running even if only in a "beta" stage. It really ought to grab your attention once it's completely done.

So far so good. :)
