Im making this thread for Chris (aka..SlowC5)

Chris approached me to do a Cam,Springs, LT LG headers, HighflowCats, and Xpipe install for him. So me and TKmotorsports are threw with the first day of install. Cam and springs are all installed and buttoned up. Tomarrow will be the final install of the LG Longtube headers and full exhaust, then the Vette is off to Jeff, Charles and JrRacing for there top notch tuning job!! Chris's Vette is a very nice 04 with low milage, absolutely prestige condition. Im looking forward to see what the Vette makes after Jeff and Charles get there hands on it. He may need to change his user name; SlowC5 wont suit this car.

nice. car is gonna go from stock to not so stock very quickly! im jealous of the room those vettes have to work under the hood!

That room your jealous of was obtained by removing alot of stuff LOL waterpump,radiator, steering rack ect. Its much easier to do a cam swap on a camaro than a Vette.

The steering rack can be quite a PITA unless you have done it once before. Can't wait to see the #'s it puts down, and I bet it will sound real nice.

What catback system does he have in case I missed it?

Corsa... His exhaust system will be LG long tubes, LG highflow cats, LG X pipe out to Corsa rears. That with a nice Voodoo cam will make some head turning sounds :)

its going to be nasty fast. should bring it out some time when ur done with it, lucky for me my heads were out of the car made it simple to put the springs on.

Just to point out before anyone else. This pics are deceiving; showing the lift and not being able to see the Pucks used to lift a Corvette properly. I circled them, its just hard to see. The lift pads are not touching the bottom of the car. Just pointing this out.

Coolant lines to keep the O2 sensors cool for when chris hammers on it :whistle:

Provided the joke isnt on me......they are most likely wires to hook into the 02 sensors, maybe extended to cope with different location of cats from factory pipe.

they do look like extensions. But they could also be rear O2 sensors.

yes that is correct......i only ran that at shadyside spinning through the 60. I could only dream to run that at greer. I really need a set of drag radials, the street tires i have arent cutting it.

Looks like the mustang haters have come out the woodwork.....is there a full moon tonight? If you would like to bash me, lets start a new thread, dont want to mess up chris's build thread anymore.

yeah, i'm used to it now from my co-workers....they rag on me all the time. I know they all would be lost if i wasnt there :)
