View Full Version : Picked up a clutch.
Well I "bit the bullet" so to speak and picked up a Textralia OZ-700 Clutch today. I need one anyways, and figured it best to do that and the rear diff at the same time.
So hopefully, I can get everything done with that side of things in the near future.

Godd deal todd you get your gears also?
Yeah. I have had a rear diff stuck in the attic since last year, but wanted to finish the heads and everything, and dyno before I put it in. Figured if everything was coming down, it's best to change the clutch as well as i know my stock one won't hold.
Thanks David..I bought this one after our conversation about a clutch when I got the studs from you...and after talking with Gary.

Nice clutch Todd if I say so myself . Did you get the X grip or the Z grip like mine? I have the Zgrip, its the tougher one but I found out at the track last friday that its not very forgiving to sliping off the line.
After doing some research for a while, I went with the X Grip. It will hold more than I will possibly make with this engine, and I wanted something that would be a little more forgiving to me.
In my case...slip is good. I feel as I can control traction issues a little better if I have some play in it.
Did you change out your cylinder?
