Been looking at this one. I am thinking of mounting it to the back of the rear view mirror, hard wiring the power to a switch then having the video/audio
output pigtail go to the console to plug it into the camera as needed.
Want to get some good racing/screwing around video and this way I don't need anyone to hold the camera.
It is low lux .01 for good low light images also

Anyone got a setup of their own?

I screwed around with haveing a camera in my car for awhile, my advice: just have a friend hold a camcorder, with a fixed-mount camera its hard to get any of the action on video. I have tape of three or four races that dont even look like a race because you never even see the other car... guess i should start racing faster cars...

u might be able to rig up some kind of mount for the headrest(in a firebird) to mount a camera. it seems to me that u won't get much action on film. maybe you should mount it backwards and record the cars ur beatin
