but its faster than my junk :rrofl: Can't wait to get the malibu back to where it was so that i can be going 7.2's again instead of 8.3's :(

Get the bu finished and we'll line em up. I picked up my trans from cooks, changing the jets for my nitrous and hooking up the nano soon.

lol i dont mind lining them up again, but it still wont be close... me and dad dont see eye to eye with the direction of the car lol. he's starting to come around, but he for some reason still wants to try the 454. after my tune, im going to try to line up with him and try to beat him with my car so he changes his mind :whistle:

Whats wrong with a 454? The Nova will be back out soon enough, and we'll see where the big block lacks power.

it has stock casting heads/cam. Its a mag motor, but the damn thing just doesnt pull like the 406 did. He is thinking of putting a more aggressive cam in the 406, which if he did, it would have had no trouble running 7.0's on motor. I guess i can't blame him for wanting to get this motor straigtened out tho, he's putting a bigger carb on it next week, and already has the juice hooked up. if all else fails, the 406 is a headgasket away from going in.
