Well, Heather(my wife) will be getting labor induced tomorrow around 7am. We hope to have the baby by lunch time. We will be at Mary Black Hospital on the 3rd floor. Not sure which room, but the floor isn't that big at all.
Wish us luck and hope for the best. I doubt i'll be sending out mass text messages and calling everyone in my contacts list, but if some of you want to stop by tomorrow evening you know where we'll be. :thumbs up:

Good luck dave. You will be happier than ever, they get bigger VERY quick my little girl will be 2 april 6th. it seems like yesterday she was born.

Best of luck David, im very happy for you and your wife. My advice, the doctor will ask you if you want to cut the cord. Do not do it! Doc asked me and I was like " hell ya, this will be cool!" WRONG!!! Not cool at all, I thought it would be easy to cut..... WRONG!!! I nearly passed out. I thought it would be like cutting a slim jim but turns out it was like cutting cable wire.
Any ways CONGRATS brother.

OMG i made the mistake of looking and cutting the cord.. Some things were not ment to be seen and thats one of them.

My situation was kind of iffy as well. My ex had a c-section, and I was in the operating room for that.
All I kept thinking was..."Don't puke..Don't puke..you're wearing a mask and it won't be good!"

hope it goes well. my wife was induced at 6:30 am but was still in labor the entire day. had the lil man the next morning at 1:30!

Thanks for all the good wishes guys. We're just sitting here in the delivery room chilling now. The Epidural is in so she isn't in any pain, just playing the waiting game.
Man, i'm glad they have free WIFI at the hospital!

congrats. just had my baby there at mary black last tuesday. the nurse are awesome and the foods not bad. my baby girl was breeched so we had a c-section. i didnt get to cut the cord. :lame:

She's lucky!
the epidural didn't work on my wife so she still hurt during the delivery of our first boy, Thankfully it was just one push once in the delivery room, LOL. They crowned him in the labor room, then moved us into delivery, doc came in said push and it was over, LMAO.

We had the same thing as crumbs induced and 24 hrs later did a c-section. with the second kid(c-section as well) the doc was like nick stand up a min so i do and she says "look this is your wife's uterus".....y'all are talking about the cord making you squimish think about seeing your wife cut in half....i guess i shoulda known better than to stand up lol

My wife is praying not to have a C-Section. The doc said everything looked good natural birth so far.

awesome. my baby was 2 weeks early. 6lbs 13oz 21 1/2" long. i was just glad to finally see her.

did you get the 2 seater chair/couch? i figured out that you can pull it apart and use the back cushion to extend it and sleep on. not comfy but not bad.
