Have any of yall crawled under your cars using just 2 jacks, in the rain? haha I did this morning... so it started thursday, I changed my gears to 4.10's for my bday :wrenchbanana: and also changed my O2's (old ones were spliced, and i finally got around to changing them and using the extensions shon got for me) Well it ran great all the way back to clemson, about 50 miles. I got out of class friday, cranked my car, and almost immediately after i got it on the road it ran like it was only on 4 cylinders, the SES light was flashing and the car. I figured it was a bad plug wire or something cause my old v6 car did that a couple times.
I took it to autozone to scan the car, and they didnt know how to use the scanner, so i had to do it myself (which i preferred anyhow lol). Turns out both of the O2's i put in were bad, one was reading 0 voltage, and the other was high voltage and problem with heater (or some shit like that) So i bought 2 new bosh O2's. Got up this morning went out to my car, took 2 jacks, crawled under that shit in the rain, with like no room to work with, and changed em out, now it runs better then ever :). As much of a pain in the ass it was, I wasn't going to take it somewhere and pay them to do it, when i knew I could suck it up and do it myself, even if it was pouring lol. Just thought i'd share my car troubles lol.
Cliff notes: Me crawling under car in rain to change O2's this morning.

Nope, and I don't plan on it I hate working in the rain! I installed a cam synchro (through the engine compartment) on the Mounty when it was pouring outside probably would have been dry underneth it though. I was soaked after I finished and I was PISSED!!!
After that incident, I was installing the slotted rotors on the Camaro and I had just pulled the 2 back rotors when it became very overcast and starting thundering. I went into full on Nascar pit crew mode! I installed the rotors, mounted the pads, bolted up the calipers, and torqued the wheels with a torque wrench all within a couple of minutes. Just as I pulled the jackstands and parked it in the garage it started pouring rain. I was NOT going to get wet again!

neither have you gary! you build a house but you assemble a transmission.

i knew it was a bad idea... but i had nothing to hold it up, i wasnt at my house, and i wasnt at my apartment, all i had to work with was what was at my friends place. Which wasnt much. I did have 2 jacks, so at least its better than one. Oh I may be a fucktard, but you still have the mustang. :wavefibger:
