Stall speed?

Goin to be runnin a Futral F13-114(got all the fancy numbers on a sheet, but all i can decipher is 230intake/232 exhaust, 114 lsa). 3.23 gears. will be sprayin down teh road, but that is farther down the road then i should plan on. this is my DD so im thinkin a 3k-3200 fuddle. whats yalls thoughts. oh yeah:drunk:

3600 yank, its the best by far, it rides around like a 3000 until you need it, its the tightest regular drive for its size out of allllll stall converter

Agreed, with that wide LSA you should be able to get away with a 3600.

I agree with the 3600 Yank. We have put that in several cars around here. Good street manners and really rocks on the drag strip, cuts low 1.6s 60'. I run Yanks 4,000 stall on my 230/232, 111LSA cam, good on the street as well, but prob not the best choice for spraying though. :shock:

lol I personnally would go with a 3200 or 3400. Especially if you drive the car around town or more then 2 times a week! High stall kills gas, makes high revs=Loud=Cops attention/pissed off people, etc...Don't go high stall unless its going to be a drag queen.

i run the F13 112+0 w/3.23s right now, it definitely needs more gear. your tc will help out a whole bunch with that, but i will say this - it'd be better to slightly overgear the car than undergear it, at least in an auto. i can always downshift if i drift too far down in the powerband.

fwiw, my car pulls like a raped ape from 3k til i let off. more gear and its just going to get better :)
