like the title says, I may have some competition at home. When I park my car at home it may no longer be king of the roost. Not that I'm complaining, I'll always welcome in another performance vehicle to the driveway :D Long story short, My dad just traded his avalanche in for a 2003 Ford Lightning  I'll try to get pics later this week :no teeth:

dually is a monster, heard it whistlin when you pulled off that day. Run a lightning, pull a house...thats best both worlds

well true... but thats in the garage not the drive way :taunt:

I think when greer opens back up im going to convince him to kick em off. I dont know if its had a pulley change or not, but I know it at the very least has a shift kit. I'll know more sunday, they are driving down here to grab lunch and show me the truck. I might have to find some source of income to make sure that Daddy doesn't have a faster vehicle. :secret:

Dang, what's the dually run?

My old Harley Davidson F150 ran 8.60 at Greer and it's a lot heavier than the Lightning.

was it stock? damn I may have to work on my launch if thats the case, cause the lightning came with more boost as well IIRC.

Stock with the exception of a 4# pulley, total of 10# of boost. I wouldn't mind having another one of those trucks, nice crew cab with captains chairs front and rear.

it seems most people seem to stick with the 4# pulley on those trucks, Is there a reason they dont go with the 6# or 8#? That would put it in the 12-16# range wouldnt it? haha sorry but im a noob when it comes to ford.

that would be the fastest harley ever at 10psi. you sure it wasnt more like 16-18psi? a 10psi lightning will run high 8's,

not sure yet... i got some exhaust, intake and a tune i can use for track and racing purposes only. i DD it anyways. suppose to put down 440rwhp and 840rwtq according to tuner, but i need to get it on a dyno next dyno day. might do some alky here soon too.

LOL, it was 10 psi. I was afraid to go any higher because they liked to launch plugs on the 02's.

FWIW, Kevin Haydock had one as well with a 6# pulley and ran 8.40's.

they arent talkin about a 95 lightin chris the newer ones with blowers on them.

david what you think about that lighting note to youself don't race a truck with roll bars comin out of the back window. it only has like 700 to the wheels with out the juice and has been a 6.3 at 113 or115 cant remember at mooresville . dennis is a pretty cool guy i went to fun ford with him and about 5 other trucks as fast as his one year.

yea i nkow the year. i was just speaking from experiance. in 2000-2004 at school their was a bunch of guys with harleys and lightnings. i had the chevy 1500 with a roots blower. we use to always go to the track on wednesday. no harley ever ran better than a 8.7, will headers, 16psi,. tires ect. that was considered good back then. my truck ran 8.4s, and would decimate any harley or lightning.

Yea.....when he is approaching me from behind, I can't see the back glass. It was pretty clear as he started walking away from me when we both hit it though. IIRC, Tim has also had his lunch money taken by Dennis' Lightning.

Kyle I doubt he's going to get anything done to it right now, money is tight, and he traded his other truck for it so now he has no truck payments. oh... and
