Alright....i am getting a 10 bolt out of a 94z to use as a "backup" for my current 10 bolt (car is my daily driver). To put this in my 02z do i just need to swap the drums out for my rotors? and everything just bolts right up? Also if the brakes are the only thing is it just as simple as taking off the drums and bolting the rotors and bracketry back in or is there any modifications that need to be done? Thanks

Brent

I think your car has 4 channel ABS. If the donor car had traction control (TCS or ASR) then it was also 4-channel. If it didn't, then you'll have to swap the axles too, or move the reluctor rings.

You'll probably need to transfer the brake lines too from your rear to the donor rear.

how do you know if your car has 4 channel abs? If its by having traction control then mine doesn't have a 4 channel b/c i dont have traction control.

I think that a lot of the LS1 cars got 4-channel by default.

If your rear end has an ABS sensor at each wheel, it's 4 channel.
If you only have a single ABS sensor in the pumpkin of the rear, it's 3 channel.

If your car has 3 channel, then you should have an easier time of swapping to the other rear end.

easy way to tell if its a four channel car is if its TCS/ASR *AND* ABS. That makes it a 4 channel. ABS only is 3 channel.

i went through actually experiencing that first hand when i put a 4ch moser 9" into my 3ch car. LOL. goodbye abs.

come to think of it, i have a 4ch stock 10bolt and i still have no abs. fuck it.

time for the billingsley abs delete kit
