Forum idea...

I got this from my car club site, as a member there requested it, and we put it to use there.

Would you guys be interested in a Projects / Builds forum?

A place where you could start a thread about your Car track your progress through your project / build?

Kinda like I'm doing on my Cutlass, and juju is doing on his RS, and Dave did on his engine rebuild, etc. But we'd have it all in one single forum to keep it all organized?

Any interest or feedback?

Only thing I would ask is to keep the forum on topic with project threads only, and try to keep the threads on topic as well.

Project threads wouldn't HAVE to be about cars I don't guess. I suppose you could do a thread about a room addition at home, or something like that.

That's something we can discuss too.

Well its not that we have too many, its just that ALOT of the ones we do have arent being used as is. And sadly i can see that happening to this too. But it would be nice to have it when someone does have a lil project going on but it doesnt happen that often around here...

It's true that there may not be a lot of project threads, or they may not get a lot of updates.

But there are my at least my Cutlass, and the LX, and Gary's vette that could go in there for now.

L man is right. I think a project forum is a great idea..All my mod threads are scattered all over the place. In the past 12 mths alone I have built 2 short blocks, done 2 diff head swaps, full motor build threads, Vararam ram air intake install, Nitrous install, Tunes, and am under going a F.A.S.T inject install and a Textralia Clutch install . I would love to have a forum were it stays on topic to my mods. If you look back at my threads they start off on topic were I supply great photos of my progress, only to see 150 post on that tread that have nothing to do with my Mods. I would like a thread to call my own in a forum subdivision were I can continue to update it and have for referance for future mods. Nemesis for Mod thread Moderater LOL

I think it is a good idea in theory,to be honest I never really browse whole forum section less im looking for right place to post something.Usually just check recent section,seems like you big fan of organization so go for it man.Not as though its going to adversely affect site if you do

yea i never browse through forums. sometimes i click on the event/meeting subforum to see when stuff is, but other than that i hit "new posts" and read away! i must say tho...this is the only forum where i read EVERY post made pretty much!
