Can't blame her for that one. We started dating in that car ( the '89) and she has stated I will die the death of a thousand screams if I ever sell it. She also said if I ever pass away , she won't sell it. It is in my garage and I am in the "headache " stage with it. The Y pipe interferes with the rear trans crosmember, the steering shaft is up against a header and I still gotta wire and plumb the car.Plus I'm sure more headaches await.
The car I am talking about being fixed is the 2001 NBM T/A we also have. Had some transmission problems plus the left cat went bad. I work so much that I don't have a bunch of time to fix much of anything. Debating on selling the T/A but I'll never sell the Camaro. Too much blood, sweat, and tears have went into it.

Mike, we need to spend a few weekends together and get that car running.
As cheap as gas is these days, I'll find a way to get down there if you're up for it.
OT: You got a pic of those stock S10 wheels?

Please do this. That is a beautiful car and I want to see it running with LS1 power sometime this decade.

Mine was only down 5 months, thats a little shy of 3 years. You could have seen it running Kale, if you could have seen through all the smoke. Aside from that, it ran very strong.
So is there a prediction date on the completion of the RS?

The RS has brake line issues, I remember that. He ordered pre-bent lines from someone, and they came to him the wrong length or something.
I vote to get lines with the right fittings and bend em up ourselves. I've got a brake line tubing bender.
But there is a lot of wiring that needs to be done to the car as well, I'm sure. The last I saw the car, there was still a lot to be done, but it wasn't THAT far from being ready for it's maiden voyage.

im sure with a little motivation, a little less tequila, and some help that car will be moving in no time.
