My buddies and like to wrestle or box on occasion, well I do. And I always enjoy a friendly match with anyone willing to fight. Usualy ill bring my 2 sets of 14oz boxing gloves if were gona box, if not we will just grapple.

but last night i was at my friends aunts house which he was house sitting and a few people showed up. Well my friend marcus decided to start an impromptu grappling match with me when i wasnt paying attention.

Im 5'11" 167 lbs, im not big, but im not weak.

Well Marcus is a 195lb black guy(not that is makes any difference) who is definatly all muscle.

So im talking to this girl next thing i know he wraps around my mid section and throws me straight back over his shoulder, head first into a 3 foot tall clay vase thing and the wall. well the vase was done for, resulting in a pretty nasty cut on my back, and the wall was done for, resulting in a nasty bruise/abbrasion on my shoulder.

well i was pissed so i jumped back up and speared him across the living room, and we had a good 3 or 4 minutes of an all out brawl, i was even giving him body shots when i had him in submission, he was very strong but i have more technique, ans stamina, and my working out paid off and i had him in totall submission !

i had him on the ground with my left arm around his neck applying pressure to his throat, my right arm wrapped around his right arm and grabbing my own leg which basicly pinned that arm, and i had both of my legs locking his totally, the only free arm he had was his left and it was undreneath him, and he couldnt lift us both so he tapped out.

and way im sore but i was happy to kick a worthy opponent's ass and see my lifting weights pay off.

Any of you guys like to fight?

I like to lift but I don't fight I spar. I have been doing Shorinji-Ryu Karate for over 6 years now. I took a 9 month break while looking for a new job and got back into it. My dad however stayed with it and is now an assistant teacher. Needless to say I use to be able able to kick my dads ass now its pretty even and I wouldn't wanna piss him off. He is a first degree black belt and I'm still a brown belt. Our next testing is in less than 6 months. I should make black belt then but I dunno. By the way I'm 6,2" and 178 lbs...So I'm nimble and I got some weight to toss around. Being tall is good and bad in the same. Makes for easy mid to high kicks but difficult to pull off sweeps and ducks.

I suck at fighting but I always get into drunken fights with my buddy andrew (ex-defensive capitan of the football team, curent marine) I always get the shit kicked out of me in the end but i put up a pretty good fight for being a scrawny little motherf*cker.

getting your ass kicked is the only way to learn how to fight, im not scared to fight because iv had my ass kicked enough times that it doesnt really fase me. so i can keep my head when someone has me pinned and not panick
