Nice races. I saw that the bike stayed behind the mustank in the first race. Did the cody guy win that one?

No he said i was throwing up to many rock... and i think he thought that Cody was going to pull.....it was a fun night, with some good races. Maybe more people will have a little more faith in the lt1

I did not up the shot it has been the same since the dyno day at naplam when i found out i was so lean on spray. It is 53 /34 jets which my understanding is like a 110 shot. Might not be even be that much to the wheels
MrDavid
08-07-2008, 11:47 AM
55jet is close to 100 at the wheels. Your 53 is probably just under.

Is that the same black Cobra that was calling me out after I took kyles white Cobra out. Didnt me say he had 100 on him beating me? I was told he made 700rwhp or something like that.
MrDavid
08-07-2008, 06:34 PM
I was told he made 700rwhp or something like that.
You haven't really met Joseph. He is probably the biggest bullshitter I have ever talked to. He told me a couple years ago he had a 300 shot on his new edge GT, but he didn't want to race an all motor S2000 and he also said he didn't want to race me either back then when he was there at Sunliner when my car dyno'ed 350hp before tuning.
GT on claimed 300 shot = at least 500whp
LS1 with mild cam, no tune = 350whp
GT scared to race, priceless
NEMESISVETTE
08-07-2008, 06:40 PM
There was a Black Cobra with a slender guy wearing clemson baseball looking clothes that night at kyles dads shop the night I raced last.
MrDavid
08-07-2008, 07:34 PM
yea, thats him. He used to have a GT a couple years ago. When he was on his 110 octane tune, he and I ran side by side from middle of 2nd gear to nearly the top of 5th at 140mph. With a 100 shot, you will decimate him Gary. On motor, as long as you don't miss a shift, you will probably still come out ahead.

David we need a update on your build. Everyone else has keep us posted Big Prez...LOL So cough it up or are you being :secret:
01BlackBird
08-07-2008, 09:10 PM
nothing has happened with davids build we are waiting to go pick up the block from the machine shop! he also still needs a new set of headers and someone needs to talk him into gettin a fast intake to bring out the potential! we know davids rollin in that big money so if he will take a break from that race car teg and spend a little on the trans am
MrDavid
08-08-2008, 04:08 AM
I'll have a FAST intake before Christmas, thats the date I can promise. Gary, I have high hopes of doing the first start on the car next Saturday. I have sold the cam, and I have supposedly sold the nitrous as well. Not sure if the guy is coming to get it, or wants me to ship it yet though. Those two sells are going to fund the rest of the build, and a new set of coated headers.
01BlackBird
08-08-2008, 06:55 AM
Lmao you can scratch next saturday cause i got to work over all week and work next weekend Ima try to get a little done but it wont be getting started

08-08-2008, 11:52 AM

01BlackBird
08-08-2008, 12:12 PM

MrDavid
08-08-2008, 02:41 PM
Then you better tell Tim to get him some FRC's before Monday so you can get started, cause we ARE starting Monday!
The EnforceR
08-08-2008, 03:29 PM

LT1 FTW LOL!

All you did was a cam and exhaust Mike. We're talking total engine builds. Kyle's doesn't count as a total engine build either since all he replaced was bearings and repainted a lot of stuff. Kent, Will, Me, and Chris are the only ones right now that are doing a complete build. Chris already started his months ago. Now he just needs exhaust to be back on the street with around 400hp on the stock injectors.
The EnforceR
08-09-2008, 07:53 AM
hey, my motor came out ttho! but yea mine was far from a complete build (well not realy, just pistons and rods and machine work).
hi officer
08-09-2008, 08:06 AM
haha. you guys and your complete and non complete rebuilds.
01BlackBird
08-09-2008, 08:09 AM
well in that casae wills doesnt count either because he ordered a fully assembled shortblock from texas speed
MrDavid
08-09-2008, 09:19 AM
and built the top end on the new bottom end! Thats a build, I just certified it.
hi officer
08-09-2008, 09:54 AM
so do all internal parts have to be upgraded or just completly disassembled to count as a complete rebuild and receive the presidential certification.
MrDavid
08-09-2008, 10:21 AM
To recieve the Presidential Certification of "rebuild", parts must be replaced, or rebuilt. Not take parts out, then put the exact same ones back in without replacing anything on them.
That is all.

08-09-2008, 11:15 AM
something tells me that if dave is making the rules that he is probably gonna win this thing. LOL
MrDavid
08-09-2008, 02:17 PM
LOL! I don't make the rules at all. I'm just picking with Kyle.
MadMike 97 Z28

You can't point out one person on this board that is rolling in dough. Unless Chris Moore registered on CHO sometime. I just work hard. I have a wife that I have pretty much, "totally" supported for over a year, and paid for her school. I promise you, I have never rolled in dough.

i know man im just messing with you. fact is i need to get a part time job to start paying for this money pit of mine im just worried about it affecting school.
The EnforceR
08-10-2008, 05:54 PM
lol youve already paid for all that withOUT a job?
MrDavid
08-10-2008, 06:33 PM
It shouldn't be too hard for a guy with your talents to pick up a part time job somewhere Mike. I'm sure you could swing 3-4 hrs a day several days a week at a job without it affecting your school much at all. Drop a few apps and see what happens.

lol youve already paid for all that withOUT a job?
yep but i was planning on that being it for while. so much for that:doh: now i deffinitely gotta find a part time job thats flexible with hours cause im sure i might want to do a little work to the rest of the motor if its torn apart. I would love a fully forged 355 but a job will be nessesary and a few months of saving will be needed for that.
