East Peoria which is only a couple of miles from us got almost 5" of snow today and 474 which is only 2 mi away was closed for several hours

This is our back deck just a few minutes ago we only got a couple of flakes this weather is nuts

lol, huricane season kept me inside for 2 days total, and i lost power for about 8 hours. ill take that any day. they only showed the worst of the worst on the news, 30 miles inland we were straight

Yeah goofy weather here too. We went to St. Louis today and drove threw a nasty snow storm for about 20 miles on they way there and then it cleared off completely. On the wy home the same thing in the smae place but no accumulation to speak of.
