i had my valve covers off tonight painting them, as well as my coil packs and brackets....and 3 of the bolts (the center style with the rubber gromet) grew legs and ran away. cant find them anywhere, although they hafta be somewhere in the garage or near. anybody have any extra laying around???

painted the valve covers with the satin black wrinkle finsih, and the coils and brakets silver. looks purdy.

EDIT found the bolts, pics are below...

Kyle you need to find out where jay got the plug to fill the egr hole in the intake it look alot better than that one,,,, the valve covers look good though

thanks....but yea if i dont get an LS6 intake before G12, id like to get a plate to cover up that freeze plug, i know they make them but idk where. if i DO get an LS6 intake, im gonna do work on it and paint it silver. looks like ill have a set of FRCs for sale possibly....

Sorry David , I'm new to posting alltogether. Does look good Kyle .I've been wanting paint my brackets and coils. I'm doing the front sway bar Sunday (Red) and see if the pulley from my stock altinator will fit the polished one . I've got to stay one up on the comp.

shit tim, as far as engine bay goes, youre one up from the comp and always will be until someone really decides to put forth some real time and effort to match what youve created.

Looks like you had a little valve stem seal leak on #5 there mike...lol. Are you having the heads gone through?

just gonna cut them so it will seal up properly i dont think im gonna port them right now. 96 and 97 LT1 heads flow slightly better than pre 96 in stock form approximately 10% from what i have read, but i plan on a diff set of heads within the next year. i think some of you guys will be surprised when i get it running. its coming along good i made alot of progress this week i haven't had time to work on it until now.

i think im just gonna have a shop do it for me but i may take you up on that deal ill let you know.
