Dyno Day Scheduled!

I just got off the phone with Darren @ Napalm. We talked for a while about setting up a dyno day and picked out March 15th.

The details:

-Napalm will open @ 10:30am
-Dyno pulls will cost $40 for 2 pulls with A/F printout
-I need a minimum of 12 cars to participate
-This is for everyone in UFB/SLM and associate cars


If weather is bad on the 15th, or too many of you have something planned already, then we will re-schedule to the following Saturday. Once we have enough people committed to going, I will talk to Darren again to see if they might possibly buy pizza for all that participate.

These plans are all tenative right now so there is plenty of time to change them if need be. I told Darren I would call him back in a few days to let him know how you guy's response was to the thread.


Please post up if you're interested in going at all or if you want to go, but have a conflicting schedule.

Ed you should definitely make that, as for the 96 ta i was going to buy it had a fresh 355 je pistons with stock heads and a lt4 hot cam kit and it made 354 hp on a mustang dyno.

thats VERY generous for a stock headed hot cam 355 LT1, esp on a mustang dyno.

yeah i didnt think it would have made that much but the owner showed me the dyno slip and i know the guy that owns the dyno and i called him and he varified it so, got to believe it. Now the car has spray on it. And kyle you going to chicken out on us on dyno day and you are going to have spray on it by then!! Damn it son!

LOL So, I'm going to freely admit just how LITTLE I know about the DYNO and how it works by asking do THEY get in the car to do the test, or do I have to do it? I think it would do better with someone in the car who knows how to do it----I drive it like my VW. <dooot, doooot> instead of <VAROOM VAROOM> ( don't laugh--those noises are hard to spell!! )

ya its pretty hard for me to let someone else drive my car too. i dont think i would ever let someone drive my car on a dyno unless someone was tunning it.
