I'm surprised they didn't shed more weight over the C6Z. Still, this should surely be a 210-225mph car.

Now that is a Vette. Makes you wonder if Ford will even try to build a car to compete with it. They failed with the GT, and the Z06 is half the price of it. It just keeps getting better and better.

yeah heres the deal guys, that might be the last corvette. congress yesterday passed a bill that by 2010, all cars will have to get 35 mpg off the assembly line. they were talking at gm saying the corvette would have to be reduced untill technology catches up to make big power more efficiently. kinda sucks but its like the gas crisis in the 70s, 454 ls7 vettes making 450hp, following years tuned ports with 210 hp from the factory, that was the last time congress passed an energy bill on vehicles.

they cant do that....what about wok trucks and all that. theres no way some vehicles are ever able to get that mpg and still have the power to pull heavy loads

Damn right!!!! :usa: Even with diesels, their mpg are not even close to 35mpg and will not be there by 2010. So damnit dont punish the ones who know how to make big power and also have decent mpg (GM).:nono:

Surely there will be some stipulation for Sportscars. Maybe just Sedans.
