oh well, it looks like scattered thunderstorms for the rest of the evening here. I'm not going to Chesnee to sit for 2 hours and then race once and go home. I only get two nights a week off (sometimes). There was no clouds in the sky yesterday while Will came to buy my tires in my garage and we stood outside talking for 30 minutes and rain came and went in 15 minutes. It is summertime dude, rain can come out of nowhere and last half an hour and then disappear like it never happened. I go to weather.com every day and they said scattered thunderstorms all evening.

Yea, it was my fault that I didn't put the DR's on because I thought it would take the torque from a 2nd gear roll. Even if it didn't I still might not have won. I will get my bottle filled this week and put the DR's on and we can meet somewhere at the end of this week and kick em off again when I have mine at 100%. With a full bottle and sticky tires, there will be no excuses unless I break something, which I hope doesn't happen.

my 3rd gear is pretty strong, but not as strong as 4th is now. Ever since I have put 4.10's in the rear, 4th seems to be the money gear now. Only thing is, I don't go to 4th until about 95mph. Most races are nearing a finish by then.

I Have Always Loved Racing From 15-20 Mph And Go Til 100-120 Mph And Being Done. Anyhting After That Is Real Fun But Real Dangerous. But What Ever. Im Gonna Start Racing From Dead Stop- 20 Mph. If They Wont Race From That Then We Wont Be Racing. It Runs Damn Good From 35-40 But I Just Love The Challenge Of Getting It Off The Line. That Right There Shows The Better Car And Driver For Damn Sure. It Is Just So Hard To Get People To Do That Anymore. I have been leaning toward getting away from blacktop racing myself. Esp. when there is a massive crowd watching that just attracts cops like flies on a dead animal. I don't want a drag car because I like the fact of getting 20+mpg and driving my car on the street, but I would LOVE to have a 12-bolt so I could experience some 1.6 or better 60' times even with a M6. I have always thought my car was pretty fast even though really haven't thrown that much money into the engine, and I have always feared breaking the 10-bolt as well. If my financial status is close to where I want it to be this winter, hopefully I will get to throw a few dollars at it and make some serious power. 500hp just isn't what it used to be these days. I still feel like I might lose to a turbo honda sometimes, and I just don't like that feeling at all.

I don't think it would take 1500hp! Dang, that would break off any honda. Chris will be whoopin up on 500hp hondas whenever he finishes his build in a few months. A guy on LS1tech with a turbo 370ci motor ran 9.20's on his shakedown passes. There are very few honda's in the 9's. I'm sure whenever he finishes his build and beats most everyone in greenville that word will start to spread and someone from far away will come and put him to the test.

Well You Know What I Mean. These 600 Hp Honda's That Only Weigh About 1500 Lbs If That. Those Guys Will Be Hard To Handle With A Full Bodies Car Like Ours. But We Will See. A guy I work with had a turbo foxbody with carb and he was trapping around 104 in the 1/8. You probably know him, Ken Gault. He got rid of the turbo now and is probably just going to go spray or NA. Nick's Integra weighed 2700lbs. Only a gutted hatch will weigh around 1500lbs. I think the little one that beat me on motor weighed 1600. But it was still a shitcan.
