there is a possibility the the ol' lt1 may be out there. the radiator came in, only thing is tonight i was suppose to spend time with heather because she works all the time. long story short i talked her into helping me work on the car. bleeding the brakes and such. if she doesn't get bored before its running ill bring it out tomorrow:)

haha well its running, just gonna drive it tomm. and make sure everything is ok. she ended up helping me bleed the brakes and set the radiator in. also hold the funnel and paint strainer while i poured coolant, the rest of the time she sat in the car and read her book. aint she sweet, and tomorrow she works so its perfect, she doesnt like the dragstrip much.

yeah daves wife is the best mod i have at the track for me. gosh last time was so sweet she was out of my hair the whole night. indefinably worth 2 tenths.

Yea, as of now its raining at my house. Radar shows another system a few hours behind this one. It looks like it is only gonna rain for a little while longer. I am guessing that Greer has something like Shadyside that they can dry the track with. Weather decision will be made about 5:30. Shadyside is looking good for Sunday. Hopefully if we get rained out tonight we will have at least 7 or 8 cars going on Sunday.

we went and ran a good bit actually. it rained us out for about 45 min but after that they opened back up

got a new best tonight....8.03 @85 w/ a 1.69 60 ft. truck gets a little faster each time so should see 7's next time out hopefully. i tihnk 8.03 is all it had tongiht tho, i ran that 3 times in a row and then let my dad play in it some.

next time, a little 110 in the tank. That should be all you need to shave off those 3 thousandths for a 7.xx run.

of course we can....we went from 8.11 to 8.03 just by bumping the timing up 2 degrees. we can find .03 somewhere.

maybe in a driver mod. I'm not saying its me, but it would be pretty cool to launch off the line like that.

Well for the driver mod its definitely not me...I prolly got 200 pounds on Kyle, so for every 100 pounds, its one tenth off the ET, so I would probably run an 8.30.
Maybe if you drove my car, Kyle, I could break into the 9's, haha.

lol driver mod wont do much when ive got the 60 ft. down to a 1.6. once ya get past the launch you just go straight up bump up the shifter lol.

I was talkin about shearing some wieght off, but it won't help that much unless we can find like a midget, who wieghs like 50 pounds...and can drive like a motha. I'd like to see that. I am starting to sound like Kale...this is scary.

yea, 1.6 is probably maxing out that truck's 60' unless you get a bottle on it and bring the nitrous in off the line. Does the truck have a transbrake?
