I find the Rat Rod craze interesting , it's definitely a tribute to the car culture roots. But , as so many other things , there are two sides of the coin. First , they are starting to command some mighty steep prices and in the quest to be cool , some of the things I've seen done just doesn't look that safe. There is a definite coolness factor to a properly executed rat rod,though. The term itself can be considered an insult to some and due to it becoming a mainstream term , not the best thing to say to the car's owner if you don't know them. So what do you think? Hot or not?
