i still haven't looked into my drive train noise, i will tonight...i hope its the gears, im thinking about 3:73s

according to Travis, 4.11's are too much for a supercharged car. He said they like to have a taller gear, and he might be right. I think Slink is going to put a 3.73 in Travis' old SS sometime this summer. That car should be a good bit faster with new gears.

As far as the weekend. I have drill and will be off Saturday and Sunday night. Although, I believe that Sunday is Superbowl day if i'm not mistaken, guess that means I won't be headed to greenville Sunday night.

UPDATE: i took the rear end apart tonight and i broke two teeth off of the pinion, i will order a ring and pinion tomorrow and the car will be on the road the day they come in...im most likly going with 3:73s

yea theres still a lil bit of knock tho. he took timing down to like 20 degrees and it went away, then went back up to 22 it came back, then back down to 20 degrees again and it wa still there so idk whats causing it. im gonna replace the knock sensors as soon as i have time, and swap out the plugs and wires while im at it too.

my old NGK's didn't look that great when Chris pulled them out. I would suggest getting new ones. If you just want to clean them up a bit with some sandpaper or sandblaster then they are all yours.

I will confirm the $58 I just bought a set last week for my car and put them in bj is talkin about the ngk vpower plugs that are 1.98 each but they are not the iridium that our cars call for I ran them for a month but when I did headers I bought the tr55's

the difference is the the one you have are the vpower the ones recommended for the ls1 cars are the tr55 iridium whick is a better plug and its a little hotter plug than the vpower they are 6.95 each

tr55 is how we roll son. they add 27 hp on 93 octane gas.

you damn scraight i figure i made 330 with the crap plugs and manifold so now calculate in the 27hp for the plugs and say 20hp for headers im at 377hp on motor right now before chris tunes it lol and will said a tune is worth 2hp so thats 379hp so dave is only 4hp away and I can still do my tb bypass that should get me there lol

i think if you pour in a little can of the high performance octane booster, then you should see 400 no problem. if that doesnt work, get new muffler bearings for the slowmasters.

well i broke something today. i have a vibration in the drive train. i think its the flexplate. im going to check tonight. i might of bent it slightly racing the other night. anyways, jays car is finished, so can i start on mine. hopefully i have to pull the motor because i need a reason to builld the motor.
