Just converted 56 chevy to disc brake and power booster, cars will stop, but the brake pedal is low.
I am thinking either pedal needs to be modified or rod to brake booster need adjustment or rod between booster and master cylinder is not correct?

Could be proportioning valve and/or air still in lines

Are you saying the pedal goes to low when pressing on the brake or does it stay lower than it did even when at rest?

On top of the other questions and assuming it turns out not to be air in the system......did you buy the conversion kit as a whole or did you piece it together?

Good point , an improperly matched Master cylinder will do things like that.
