A bit of information I found out about that I thought you guys might like to know. This guy who I used to work with before I went into the Army has a Fox body mustang with the following mods: Heads, Cam, Longtubes, Injectors, Fuel Pump, Supercharger (6lbs), and some tranny work (5speed). I told him about SUNLINER, the place where I had my car dyno'ed a few months ago and that they had a guy there who used to build and tune mustangs. He told me he was gonna get them to dyno his car and possibly do a little tuning to it also. Well he went and dyno'ed it 2 days ago at Sunliner. PLEASE post up (everyone, even if you are not in our car club) what kind of numbers you think this car layed down on the dyno. I will tell everyone tomorrow. Keep in mind that this car will bark 3rd gear pretty hard with fat rear tires.

well it cant be more than 15-20 hp off if you dyno'd 350 untuned. i figure with your cam and bolt ons, yours would be around 370 untuned so its not WAAAAY off i dont think. still low nonetheless.

trust me Kyle, it is way off. This guy with the mustang with all the mods listed above only made 211hp during his peak pull!! And he also pulled only 280 ft/lbs of tq. Tell me that crap isn't whack!! This guy is heads/cam/ and Supercharged with 6lbs!! 211 is total crap!! This car will absolutly roast tires in 1st and 2nd and will even spin in 3rd with a 3.08 rear end gear ratio! I am never going back there again!

what stock foxbody do you know will roast tires in first through third?? I bet you your car you can't find ONE, with a 3.08 gear. His car is fast, but he is about 46 years old and he will not street race at all. So, maybe I can ride with him and find out what it has. Perhaps the supercharger has a negative affect on his car.....hummmmmmm.

Just weak huh Jay. I got a run lined up for you...lets see what is weak.
By the way, spinning tires is not an adequate means of judging power, hell, my car will spin in second...all 180whp.

I mean this car will break loose in 3rd. A typical mustang won't do that.

well if you want to line me a run up its gonna have to wait till I can put my motor back in so give me about the end of january and then tell them to bring it on and I got a buddy who had a stock fox body that would do nothing but spin thru 3rd and bark 4th

I would really be surprised if the car was 400 or more no matter what that dyno said.

i've seen h/c 5.0s running 14s in the quarter before. and that was no excuses, dead hooks, and no missed gears. takes a lot to get those things moving.

I doubt it is making 400 either, but I figured at least 360 or somewhere in that neighborhood. I would have to be EXTREEMLY pissed if I had all that done to my car and it only made 211 on the dyno.

did he have bicycle tires on it?
01BlackBird

lol no bicycle tires just stockers man those cars are light in the rear if you get one that hasnt been dogged out and still has somewhat decent power they will spin forever it just a fox body thing

Yeah, they are just like any car, some are fast and some are slow as hell, but both can be bone stock.
