This is kinda unfair...I mean if the lady is dating somebody with a car its pretty much hers too. At least thats what my g/f seems to think. I let her borrow my SS for a week and now she's always asking me when she gets "her" (referring to mine) back.

My pictures are elsewhere at present but this is just like it except I have a tonneau cover with the Red Rams head centered on it. 4.7 liter V-8. Love V-8's except when the fuel bills come in.

other than that ... my snowboard, ski's and Dad's Suzuki dirt bike when I need to blow off steam.

O.K. I'm not one of the ladies but here is my wifes car! I have painted the mud flaps body color and the wheels a dark Charcoal grey. For the life of me a can't figure out why I didn't take pics after I did that. My wife claims she saw another in this color at the dealership after we bought this one but the only other one I have seen was in Florida in West Palm. It's nice not seeing your cars twin on every corner. It will be gone next year when the lease is up. Plans on a replacement are up in the air. I want a GTO, or a Mustang GT or Cobra, next car will be a keeper.Sorry I haven't found any pics of her old Firebird that we traded on this. PG

Update:
This is my current ride. Don't have to carry computers, monitors, and racks on the road anymore so didn't need the 15 mpg truck.

and interior... heh... I got dissed elsewhere for the towels in the floorboards but where I live it always is raining and I don't want to ruin the carpeting.

I couldn't remember if I'd posted this before. Did a search on my posts and didn't find it so here:
This isn't good resolution (old picture) But this has always been my favorite ride. Not mine, but Dad let me use it as my ride in High School. It's a 1973 VW but he put shaved 041 heads on it, dual carb, electronic ignition, high performance exhaust, heavy duty clutch, adjusted the cam and timing and solid motor mounts. Every steel part that could be substituted with fiberglass to cut weight was replaced. Normally it had nerf bars instead of bumpers but this pic was taken right after state inspection. They didn't seem to like nerf bars when I'd get it inspected. It was noisy, rode harsh (stiff aftermarket shocks), looked hilarious, but it ran like a cat that just had it's tail stepped on. Up to 80 it would hold it's own against any domestic stock V-8. sigh... but when I shifted into fourth then they'd get me. *GRIN* However.... quite often Randy streetracer in his daddy's new sports car would be so embarrassed in the first several blocks he'd turn off and disappear.
Unfortunately I got grounded several times for speeding tickets. I loved that car. What little I learned about engines was what Dad showed me when he worked on it.
