Well first off, what happened to ScotTA in the Green or Teal Trans AM??? We watched for you all night long and you left us hanging. I thought you posted "hell yes i'll be there." I think Scott is gonna have to go through the initiation now. Post up your ideas. I guess i'm the only one from the club that raced anyone other than Justin and Will goofing off on the way home. For those of you who weren't there, it was the primer CRX is turboed and he claims 9lbs of boost. The race didn't last very long as I walked him and never made it to 4th gear when we started from a 40 roll in 2nd. I told Will to race him but he was a puss and wouldn't do it. You could have beat this guy Will if you will learn how to powershift.

wether you intended on racing him or not...he didn't out run me though...because i didn't race him...and it wouldn't matter anyway because he is a ls1killr, and i drive a LT1 soooo that pretty much makes my car invincible...plus i have stage 6 valve springs

yes, that plate is already oblselete. I was just playing games with him, I could have smoked him anytime. Espically after I beat that honda and took all his horsepower. hehe

yeah and i saw that video of him racing the black ta with the 300 shot. the cobra won by two cars.if i remember correctly, his mods were, mild exhaust and a lid with two nitrous hits. say he was shooting a 300, netting 240 to the wheels , on top of his motor making at best 310-320 whp thru an automatic. add those together and thats 540-560 whp. now a nitrous 550 whp will get pulled on up top by a n/a or supercharged or turbo 550 whp. alo an automatic 550 whp will get walked uptop by a 6 speed of the same hp. also those cobras a pigs and need about 50 more hp to pull on an ls1. all in all, the cobra is not making 800, more like 550-600 whp. now he might have a 50 shot iheard or something which will put him at 650-700 whp, but 800 on the window nets roughly 650 whp. all in all 550 whp done right will take him. which is any cam and 175-200 shot ls1. so really he does not have enough power to justify that plate. and this sunday its on.

oh yeah correct me if im wrong on that black t/a, does he have more mods?

well if that black TA you are thinking of is Brandon's car then the only mod he has now is the "plowed up a Tree mod." He wrecked it about 3 weeks ago and it is totaled. Wait till you get the 3.73's in before you race him and then the 100shot, he will surely get beat if he isn't spraying. I talked to my gear guy and he said he will hook us up next week. All you need is the gear installation kit. You can pick one up from Summitracing.com for $100 that comes with everything you need, except gear oil (advanced auto). If you want to look for a cheaper deal feel free. $175 for the gear install and it will be done in about 4 hours.

well the cobra back then only had a 600 hp club sticker on the window so i guess now that 800 hp sticker added 200rwhp so what im thinking is ....I need one of those stickers

all i know about that car is its got 22 pounds of boot via a whipple blower, and a 100 shot that supposdely got him to 800 ho. he said it made like 730 hp on boost only.....you other guys heard him say that too right?

If that car makes 730 boost only then a 100shot will give him well over 900hp. I think he is full of crap

i thought they were worth 25 and they add a stage to your current setup. so your stage 18 LT1 will be a stage 19 once it beats a car worth 25 points.

if you gain a stage for every time I've beat an import I would be like a stage 30. One night I gained 3 stages in 3 minutes.

well for it to add a stage, the import has to have a fart can. a wing adds half a stage. so 2 imports that are fart canned/winged are worth 3 stages.

i think there is a summit install kit for like 45 bucks. when do you want to do the gears?

I talked to the guy yesterday and he said next week would be good. I'm stuck with working 7 days this week so all I can do is order my new ones. I guess I will take mine to him on about Tuesday morning because he works the same shift as me (2nd) and goes into work about 3:00. Make sure the you have the right gear install kit. The one I got from Summit was $80 and it was for an LS1 only. It will cost about $90 after handling fee but it definantly has EVERYTHING you will need.
